"A Little Taste of Peace" — Saturday, January 16, 2010
Each
year the South Bend Human Rights Commission and other community
organizations sponsor an evening in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther
King Jr's birthday. The Community Forum is one of the sponsors of this
event and you are encouraged to attend and participate in a
conversation on current problems and solutions that can help to build
Dr. King's dream. New Horizons Outreach Ministry will host this year's
program, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. New Horizons is located at 56165
Mayflower Road in South Bend (1/3 mile north of Western).

The League of Women Voters "Lunch with the League" program will not be held in January. The series will resume on Friday, February 12 at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe.
